A theme park attraction inspired by the film has been announced for Shanghai Disneyland, while a short series based on the film premiered on Disney+ in 2022.

The film received widespread critical acclaim, with a lot of praise directed towards the film's animation, voice acting, characters, humor, screenplay, and themes about discrimination and social stereotypes.
